the community, "El buen Samaritano is located in the district of La Unión, San Pedro Sula in the north-west of the State of Honduras. Last year about 180 people were killed in the outskirts of San Pedro Sula. In November, P. Hernán López reported that the wave of violence has left behind.
Now the violence back vice versa.
On Monday, 17 Jan. 11, there was a heavy exchange of fire between the police and the belt 18 It died while four people, some were injured and police arrested several people. The residents in La Unión live with the constant fear of raids and shootouts. The members of the bands are not revealed for fear of revenge attacks. The church community, "El buen Samaritano" had to close their work. At the moment can be no church service. Martin P. Girón, church president, asks that we think of them in prayer and ask God that the shaft should stop the violence.
