Synod of IELCH:
Pastor Luis Alvarez (Punta Arenas) was born on the 30th Synod of the IELCH January as the new President of the IELCH selected.
New to the synod council were elected Pastor Nelly mask (La Trinidad, Santiago) as Sekrtetärin, Roberto Dass (Punta Arenas) and Ximena Ruminot (Concepción) as members.
Rev. Dr. Gloria Rojas said goodbye in a moving final report after 10 years of a presidency and put the office into the hands of Luis Alvarez. She herself will take over from him the pastors in Punta Arenas, the southernmost Lutheran community in the world.
